Get ready for an adrenaline-packed day at the Thrilling Timed Pump Track Challenge hosted by Princess Vlei BMX Club at the iconic Crosswind Pump Track at the Generation school's Sandown campus in Parklands North! This event is a high-energy, heart-pumping race where riders of all ages - from tiny tots as young as 3 years old to enthusiastic moms & dads all the way to seasoned pros - can come test their speed, show their skill and stamina on a world-class pump track, built by Velosolutions.
It is considered the most technical pump track in the area but has been designed for various skill levels. So whether you’re tearing it up on a BMX, flying fast on a mountain bike, boosting on a jump bike or rolling any ride in between, this challenge welcomes every type of bike and rider. No matter your experience level, newbies and first-timers are especially encouraged to join in - this is the perfect chance to learn, improve and share the thrill of riding in a supportive, exciting atmosphere.
Riders will race against the clock, aiming for the fastest laps on the technical twists, berms, rollers and jumps of the pump track. It’s not just about speed; it’s about rhythm, control and flow. The clock ticks down as you pump, pump, pump your way through the course with spectators cheering on every thrilling turn.
