EVENT TERMS & CONDITIONS

By purchasing a ticket and/or attending the event, you agree to be bound by the following Terms & Conditions in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008:

1. Ticket Cancellation & Refund Policy

1.1 Cancellations made more than sixty (60) days prior to the scheduled event date shall qualify for a full (100%) refund of the ticket price paid. 1.2 Cancellations made sixty (60) days or less prior to the event shall not qualify for any refund and all payments shall be forfeited. 1.3 No refunds shall be issued for cancellations, delays, interruptions, or changes arising from circumstances beyond the reasonable control of the Event Organiser, including but not limited to adverse weather, strikes, riots, civil unrest, government restrictions, or any force majeure event. 1.4 These terms constitute a reasonable cancellation policy as contemplated under applicable law, and nothing herein limits any rights where a refund is required by law.

2. Age Restriction & Alcohol Compliance

2.1 Strictly no persons under the age of eighteen (18) years shall be permitted entry. 2.2 Valid identification may be requested at any time. 2.3 The sale, supply, or consumption of alcohol by persons under 18 is strictly prohibited. 2.4 The Event Organiser reserves the right to refuse alcohol service.

3. Prohibited & Permitted Items

3.1 Prohibited items include weapons, illegal drugs, alcohol, food, beverages, snacks, and hookah pipes. 3.2 Such items may be confiscated, and non-compliance may result in removal without refund. 3.3 Permitted items include camp/beach chairs, empty cooler boxes (subject to inspection), vapes, and picnic blankets.

4. Parking

4.1 Parking is available at R50 per vehicle. 4.2 All vehicles and contents are left at the owner’s sole risk. 4.3 The Event Organiser accepts no liability for loss or damage except where caused by gross negligence.

5. Risk, Liability & Indemnity

5.1 Attendance and use of facilities are entirely at your own risk. 5.2 To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Event Organiser, hosts, vendors, and service providers shall not be liable for any injury, loss, damage, or loss of life. 5.3 This clause does not exclude liability for gross negligence or where prohibited by law.

6. Right of Admission Reserved

6.1 The Event Organiser reserves the right of admission. 6.2 Entry may be refused or revoked for non-compliance, unlawful conduct, intoxication, or unsafe behaviour. 6.3 No refunds shall be issued in such instances.

7. Ticket Resale & Transfer Policy

7.1 Tickets may not be resold, transferred for commercial purposes, or sold above face value without written consent from the Event Organiser. 7.2 Any ticket resold or transferred in breach of this clause may be cancelled without refund. 7.3 Tickets purchased from unauthorised sellers are invalid and used at the purchaser’s risk. 7.4 The Event Organiser may require proof of identity and/or purchase and may deny entry where ownership cannot be verified.

8. Changes, Postponement & Cancellation

8.1 The Event Organiser reserves the right to make reasonable changes to the event. 8.2 In the event of postponement or cancellation by the organiser, remedies will be provided in accordance with applicable law.

9. General Conditions

9.1 Attendees must comply with all event rules, safety protocols, and staff instructions. 9.2 The Event Organiser reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions where necessary for operational, safety, or legal reasons.
