Refund policy

TAMU FEST – REFUND POLICY Effective Date: Immediately Event Dates: 31 December – 2 January Venue: Wolmaransstad, North West At Tamu Fest, we are committed to delivering a safe, enjoyable and well-organised family and camping experience. Because the festival requires extensive upfront planning, logistics and pre-paid costs, the following refund policy applies to all ticket types, camping passes, vendor fees and add-on purchases. 1. GENERAL REFUND TERMS All ticket purchases are final, except in cases outlined below. Refunds will be processed only through the original payment method. Payment processing fees, platform fees and bank charges are non-refundable. Tamu Fest reserves the right to verify the validity of all requests. 2. CUSTOMER-INITIATED CANCELLATIONS 2.1 Cancellations Before 1 December 75% refund on all ticket types. 100% refund on camping add-ons (excluding platform fees). 2.2 Cancellations Between 1 – 20 December 50% refund on ticket types. 50% refund on camping passes and add-ons. 2.3 Cancellations After 20 December No refunds, as logistics, infrastructure and vendor costs will have been fully committed. Ticket Transfer Option Ticket holders may transfer their ticket to another attendee at no cost until 26 December. Name changes after this date are not permitted. 3. EVENT CANCELLATION BY ORGANISERS If Tamu Fest is cancelled due to reasons within the organiser’s control (e.g., planning failures, internal issues): Guests will receive a 100% refund (excluding payment platform fees). 4. EVENT POSTPONEMENT If the festival is postponed due to circumstances beyond control (severe weather, safety risks, national regulations): Tickets automatically roll over to the new date. If the new date is not suitable, guests may request a 60% refund within 7 days of the announcement. 5. FORCE MAJEURE (NO REFUNDS) No refunds will be issued if cancellation is caused by events outside the organiser’s control, including but not limited to: Extreme weather conditions Natural disasters Government restrictions National emergencies Riots, strikes, or civil unrest Acts of God In such cases, tickets will be transferred to a new date. 6. SAFETY & EJECTION If a ticket holder is removed from the festival for violating safety rules, illegal activity, or disruptive behaviour, no refund will be issued. 7. NO-SHOWS Attendees who do not arrive for the event (no-shows) will not receive a refund. 8. VENDORS & SPONSORS Vendor and stall fees follow the same date-based refund structure unless stated in individual contracts. 9. HOW TO REQUEST A REFUND All refund and ticket transfer requests must be submitted via: 📧 support@tamufest.co.za Subject: Refund Request – [Your Name / Ticket Number] Please include: Full name Ticket number Contact details Reason for request Proof of payment Refunds will be processed within 7–14 working days after approval. 10. AGREEMENT By purchasing a ticket or attending Tamu Fest, you automatically agree to the terms of this refund policy.

Parking

TAMU FEST – PARKING POLICY Effective Date: Immediately Event Dates: 31 December – 2 January Venue: Wolmaransstad, North West To ensure safety, smooth traffic flow and a great experience for all festival attendees, the following Parking Policy applies to all guests, vendors, staff and service providers. 1. GENERAL PARKING RULES Parking is available only in designated parking zones as directed by security marshals. Vehicles parked outside of designated areas may be towed at the owner’s cost. All parking is at the vehicle owner’s risk. Tamu Fest and the venue are not liable for loss, theft, damage, or towing. 2. PARKING TYPES 2.1 General Parking (Free) Available for all day visitors and general campers. First-come, first-served. A short walking distance from the main festival gate. 2.2 VIP / Premium Parking (Paid) Reserved for VIP ticket holders and sponsors. Closest to the entrance and includes prioritised entry and exit. 2.3 Vendor Parking Dedicated parking area for food stalls, traders, brand activations and suppliers. Vendors will receive a parking permit that must be displayed on the dashboard at all times. 2.4 Staff & Production Parking Restricted to authorised personnel with official accreditation. Access controlled by security. 3. ENTRY & EXIT PROCEDURES Upon arrival, follow the signage and security teams directing you to your parking bay. Keep your parking ticket/permit visible on the dashboard throughout your stay. No engine revving, hooting, or reckless driving inside festival grounds. Re-entry with your vehicle is permitted but may require re-queuing during peak hours. 4. CAMPING & PARKING 4.1 Car-to-Camp Access Vehicles are not allowed inside the camping zone, except in approved “Car-to-Camp” zones if available. Campers must offload gear at the designated drop-off point, then move their vehicle to the general parking area. 4.2 Trailer & Caravan Rules Trailers, caravans or rooftop tents must be pre-registered. Only approved camping vehicles may enter the camping section. 5. SECURITY MEASURES 24-hour security patrols around parking areas. High-visibility lighting in key areas. CCTV monitoring at main entry/exit points. Random vehicle checks may occur for safety purposes. 6. PROHIBITED ACTIONS The following are strictly not allowed in parking zones: Drinking alcohol in parking areas Loud music or car sound systems Braaiing, cooking, or lighting fires Sleeping inside the vehicle (safety reasons) Selling items from your vehicle without vendor accreditation Leaving pets unattended in cars Violators may be removed from the event without refund. 7. PARKING HOURS Parking areas open: 31 December, 08:00 Parking areas close: 2 January, 18:00 No overnight parking after this period unless pre-arranged. 8. DISABILITY ACCESS A limited number of accessible parking bays are available closer to the entry gate. Disability permit or documentation must be displayed. 9. LIABILITY By parking at Tamu Fest, you acknowledge: All parking is at your own risk. The organisers are not responsible for damages, theft, or vehicle loss.
