The following Terms and Conditions apply to all vendors, attendees, partners, and participants of the Student Social Market (SSM). By attending or participating in the event, all parties agree to comply with these guidelines.
1. General Participation
All participants are expected to conduct themselves in a professional and respectful manner. The event organizers reserve the right to deny entry or remove any individual whose behavior is disruptive, unsafe, or inappropriate.
2. Vendor Participation
Vendors must register prior to the event and operate only within their allocated spaces. Vendors are responsible for their own equipment, stock, and setup. Selling illegal, unsafe, or prohibited items is strictly not allowed. Vendors must comply with health and safety requirements where applicable.
3. Payment and Bookings
Vendor space bookings are only confirmed upon receipt of full payment, where applicable. Payments made are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled by the organizers. No subletting or sharing of stalls is permitted without prior approval.
4. Setup and Breakdown
Vendors must adhere to the specified setup and breakdown times. Early breakdown before the official closing time is discouraged unless approved by event management.
5. Health and Safety
All participants must follow safety instructions provided by event staff. Vendors dealing with food must maintain proper hygiene standards. Emergency access routes must remain clear at all times.
6. Liability
The organizers will not be held responsible for any loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings, equipment, or stock. Participants attend and participate at their own risk.
7. Conduct and Behaviour
No fighting, harassment, discrimination, or inappropriate conduct will be tolerated. Alcohol consumption (if permitted) must be done responsibly. Any illegal activity will result in removal from the event.
8. Photography and Media
Photos and videos may be taken during the event for promotional purposes. By attending, participants grant permission for their image to be used in marketing and promotional materials.
9. Children and Supervision
Children attending the event must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times. The organizers will not be liable for unattended minors.
10. Parking Compliance
All attendees and vendors must comply with the event parking policy. The organizers will not be responsible for vehicle-related incidents.
11. Event Changes
The organizers reserve the right to make changes to the event schedule, layout, or program if necessary. Participants will be notified where possible.
12. Agreement
Participation in the Student Social Market (SSM) event constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
