Participant Waiver & Indemnity
By purchasing a ticket, registering and/or attending the Wellness Walk Against Cancer Walkathon, you agree to the following:
Participate voluntarily and are medically fit and physically able to complete the walk.
Accept all risks associated with the event.
Release and indemnify the Event Organiser, venue, sponsors, and staff from any liability for injury, loss, or damage.
Participants are responsible for safeguarding their own personal belongings.
Agree to follow all event rules and instructions.
Consent to medical assistance if required (at your own cost).
Grant permission for event photos/videos to be used for marketing.
SAUAC will collect and process personal information solely for Event administration and communication purposes and in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
Acknowledge that tickets are non-refundable as this is a charitable.
Registration is confirmed only upon successful payment through Computicket.
Participants must present their valid Computicket ticket or proof of registration to collect their T-shirt.
Participants who are unable to collect their T-shirt personally may nominate someone to collect it on their behalf, provided that person presents a copy of the participant's Computicket ticket or proof of registration.
T-shirts will not be distributed on the day of the event.
Participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by parent or legal guardian or a responsible adult.
By proceeding, you confirm that you have read and agree to this waiver.
