Join us on 24 October 2026 for the SAUAC Wellness Walk at Rietvlei Zoo Farm in Alberton - a day where communities come together in unity, hope, and shared purpose.
Under the theme “10,000 Steps of Hope - 10,000 Voices United Against Cancer,” this experience brings people together to raise awareness, honor journeys, and support communities across South Africa through collective action.
Whether you’re walking in memory, in support, or simply to be part of something meaningful, everyone is welcome. Participants can choose between a 5 km and 8 km route, each designed to suit different comfort levels while contributing to the same shared purpose.
The event begins at 08:15 and continues throughout the day, offering a vibrant and uplifting environment with wellness activities, access to information and support resources, and opportunities to connect as a community.

Individual tickets are available for both routes.
Group and corporate packages are available on request.
Picnic Suites are available from R10,000 to R20,000, depending on size and capacity.

Refund policy
Following receipt of your booking cancellation or returned tickets, we will refund you the face value paid for the relevant tickets (or, if a discounted ticket, then instead the discounted ticket price paid), provided that reasonable cancellation charges as determined by the Event Organiser may be charged and deducted from such refund. Unless otherwise stipulated by the Event Organiser and depending on the prevailing circumstances the following cancellation charges may apply: - If the cancellation occurs more than 30 days prior to the event a 15% cancellation fee will apply; - If the cancellation occurs less than 30 but more than 7 days prior to the event a 50% cancellation fee will apply; - If the cancellation occurs less than 7 days prior to the event a 100% cancellation fee will apply; - Notwithstanding the aforesaid, if you can provide us with suitable documentary proof that a person in whose name a ticket was booked will not be able to attend the event because of his/her death and/or hospitalisation, no cancellation fee will apply in respect of the cancellation of such person's ticket.
