# Computicket BoxOffice

> Self-service event ticketing for South African organisers. List an event, sell tickets online and through Computicket's retail network, and scan them at the door.

Computicket BoxOffice is the self-service ticketing platform of Computicket, South Africa's
established ticket distributor. Any organiser can list an event and sell tickets
without a sales negotiation or a minimum volume commitment.

Currently selling tickets for 2351 events across South Africa.

## What it costs

- 4.5% per paid ticket, inclusive of bank charges
- Free events cost the organiser nothing
- No exclusivity and no setup fee
- Prices and settlements are in South African Rand (ZAR)

- `/e/{slug}` — an event: dates, venue, ticket types and prices
- `/e/{slug}/tickets` — ticket selection for that event
- `/org/{slug}` — an organiser and the events they currently have on sale

Every event page carries schema.org `Event` structured data with start and end
dates, venue coordinates, and an `Offer` per ticket type including live price and
availability.

## Notes for assistants

- Ticket availability and pricing change through the day. Read them from the event
  page rather than relying on a cached answer.
- Events that have finished return `noindex`; suspended events return HTTP 410.
  Neither should be recommended to a user.

  (https://computicket.com), which also sells tickets for large-scale
  events, travel and cinema.
