Wine on route at Van Gaalen cheese farm

Distance: 4km

Start Time: 9:30am-13:00pm

Tickets: R350pp general admission (entrance, wine tasting, goodie bag, live music) we will have a bar afterwards and food at the restaurant.

R450pp VIP (entrance, wine tasting, private parking, goodie bag, food, live music, private allocated area after hike, waitered service)

Kids under 12 free

Kids/non drinking participants - R50pp can be purchased upon check in.

A 4km trail walk along the scenic Skeerpoort River and Magalies River on the Van Gaalen Trails.

You will be warmly welcomed by a wine estate approximately every 600m of the way. There you will be provided with the "nutrition" and energy required to get to the next point. Enjoy a cheese pairing at an estate with our Van Gaalen made cheese.

Halfway point gets you a light snack to replenish the intake!

Upon arrival, you will receive a goodie bag with a wine glass, a day permit for the trails, water, snack, pen and some information on the wine.

At the finish, more wine and good food will be for sale along with live music.

VIP tickets include designated parking,

waitron service with platters in a privately sectioned off area.

Batches are released every 10 min from 09h30-13h00.

It promises to be a day filled with great fun, amazing wine and mouthwatering food.

Registration opens at 8am Saturday and Sunday.
