Rainbows, in addition to being beautiful, can be useful. In this presentation we will consider ways of understanding and using rainbows of both natural and artificial forms. The rainbow has formed a path leading to discoveries in optics and we are now within its ‘pot of gold’ of useful applications. 12 years and older
