Umphakhathi Festival – Terms & Conditions

By purchasing or using a ticket to attend the Umphakhathi Festival, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Every person entering the festival must have a valid ticket or authorised accreditation.

2. Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable, except where required by South African law or where the organisers announce otherwise.

3. The organisers reserve the right to refuse entry or remove any person whose behaviour is disruptive, abusive, violent or unsafe.

4. No weapons, illegal drugs, fireworks or any prohibited or dangerous items are permitted inside the venue.

5. Alcohol may only be consumed in designated areas and only by persons aged 18 years or older. Proof of age may be requested.

6. Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times.

7. Security personnel may conduct bag and personal searches at the entrance. Refusal to comply may result in denied entry.

8. Attendees enter the venue at their own risk. The organisers are not responsible for any loss, theft, damage to personal property or injuries, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.

9. By entering the festival, you consent to being photographed, filmed or recorded for promotional, marketing and media purposes without compensation.

10. The festival programme, artists, entertainment schedule and event times may change without prior notice.

11. Outside food, beverages and cooler boxes are prohibited unless specifically permitted by the ticket type or authorised by the organisers.

12. Attendees must follow all instructions given by festival staff, security personnel and emergency services.

13. Any person found damaging property, littering excessively or engaging in illegal activities may be removed from the venue and may face legal action.

14. The organisers reserve the right to postpone, cancel or relocate the event due to circumstances beyond their reasonable control, including severe weather, public safety concerns or other unforeseen events.

15. Entry to the festival constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions and all applicable venue rules.
