Official Terms & Conditions
These Terms and Conditions govern the sale of tickets and attendance at Umhlaba Wama 2K Vol. 3 ("the Event"). By purchasing, possessing, or using a ticket, or by entering the event venue, every attendee agrees to comply with these Terms and Conditions.
1. Ticket Purchase & Validity
Every ticket is valid for one (1) admission only.
Tickets must be purchased through authorized ticket sellers or official event representatives.
Tickets that are duplicated, altered, damaged, or obtained fraudulently will be cancelled without refund.
The Organisers reserve the right to verify the authenticity of any ticket before granting entry.
2. Refund & Cancellation Policy
All ticket sales are final.
No refunds, transfers, or exchanges will be permitted except where required by applicable South African law.
Should the Event be cancelled by the Organisers, ticket holders will be informed of the applicable refund process.
If the Event is postponed, tickets will remain valid for the new date unless otherwise communicated.
3. Admission
Entry is only permitted with a valid ticket.
Security personnel reserve the right to refuse admission to any person who:
Appears intoxicated or under the influence of illegal substances.
Displays violent, threatening, abusive, or disorderly behaviour.
Refuses to comply with security screening or venue rules.
Re-entry is only permitted where authorized by the Organisers.
4. Age Restrictions
Daytime Event
Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by a responsible adult (18 years or older).
Children remain the responsibility of their parent or guardian at all times.
Night Event
Strictly 18 years and older.
Valid South African ID, Passport, Driver's Licence, or other government-issued identification may be required.
No valid ID, no entry.
5. Security Screening
All attendees may be searched upon entry and at any time within the venue.
The Organisers reserve the right to confiscate prohibited items and deny entry where necessary.
6. Prohibited Items
The following items are strictly prohibited:
Illegal drugs or narcotics.
Firearms, ammunition, knives, or dangerous weapons.
Fireworks, explosives, lasers, or hazardous materials.
Glass bottles or sharp objects.
Outside alcohol.
Any item considered dangerous by security personnel.
7. Alcohol Policy
Alcohol will only be sold or served to persons aged 18 years and older.
Proof of age may be requested at any time.
The Organisers reserve the right to refuse alcohol service to any person.
8. Behaviour & Code of Conduct
Attendees are expected to:
Respect fellow guests, staff, artists, vendors, and security personnel.
Follow all lawful instructions given by event officials.
Refrain from violence, harassment, discrimination, vandalism, theft, or any conduct that may endanger others.
Failure to comply may result in immediate removal from the venue without refund.
9. Health & Safety
Attendance is at the attendee's own risk.
Attendees should take reasonable care for their own safety and the safety of others.
The Organisers reserve the right to suspend or modify any activity where public safety is at risk.
10. Personal Property
Attendees are solely responsible for their personal belongings.
The Organisers accept no responsibility for any loss, theft, or damage to personal property.
11. Photography, Video & Media
By entering the venue, attendees grant the Organisers permission to:
Photograph,
Film,
Record audio,
Live stream,
Broadcast,
their image, voice, or likeness for promotional, marketing, archival, and commercial purposes without compensation.
12. Event Changes
The Organisers reserve the right to:
Change artists or performers.
Amend the programme or schedule.
Change venue layouts.
Delay, suspend, or cancel activities due to safety, weather, operational, or unforeseen circumstances.
13. Force Majeure
The Organisers shall not be liable for cancellation, postponement, or interruption caused by circumstances beyond their reasonable control, including but not limited to:
Severe weather,
Natural disasters,
Government restrictions,
Civil unrest,
Power failures,
Public health emergencies.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Organisers, sponsors, partners, employees, volunteers, and contractors shall not be liable for:
Personal injury,
Death,
Loss of property,
Theft,
Damage,
Delays,
Financial loss, arising from attendance at the Event, except where caused by gross negligence or as otherwise required by law.
15. Compliance with South African Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, including applicable consumer protection legislation.
16. Right of Admission Reserved
The Organisers reserve the right to refuse admission or remove any attendee whose conduct is considered unsafe, unlawful, or detrimental to the enjoyment of the Event, without refund.

Privacy Notice
Personal information collected during ticket purchases will only be used for event administration, communication, safety, and legal compliance, and will be handled in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA), 2013.
