1. General
This theatre is owned by Wild Coast Sun and operated by One Way Productions, ticketing powered by Computicket. Computicket provides access control and ticketing solutions to theatres, museums, tourist attractions and live entertainment. Computicket operates this service on behalf of Tropical Nites Theatre. All terms and conditions displayed are to be read together with any terms and conditions that may be printed on the ticket or displayed at the entrance to the theatre.
2. Tropical Nites Theatre House Rules
The use of cameras, video, audio or visual recording equipment within the theatre is strictly prohibited. Mobile phones, pagers and digital watches must be silenced/switched off prior to entering the theatre. Smoking is only permitted outside the complex. Children under three years of age will only be permitted during certain events/shows. Guide dogs and other service animals are welcome at Tropical Nites Theatre.
Tropical Nites Theatre reserves the right to:
Check that every patron has a valid ticket
Refuse admission of the ticket holder to the premises or request the ticket holder to leave the premises if due reason or cause is given
Make alterations to the advertised event programme, seating or cast in the event of an illness or unavoidable cause, without prior notice
Cancel or abandon, in extreme circumstances, any event or performance without notice. For cancellations every effort will be made to contact customers to notify them in advance
Not accept responsibility for any loss or damage to persons or property on or around the theatre complex
Require latecomers to wait until a suitable break in the event programme before entering the theatre
3. Website
When you make a purchase on Computicket you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions and policies.
Computciket, with the permission of Tropical Nites Theatre, may alter or change the terms and conditions from time to time with 20 business days notice and by using this service you agree to be bound by any such alterations or changes and use of this website.
The images, text, logos and artwork contained in this website are copyrighted to Tropical Nites Theatre and/or the licence owners and used by permission all rights reserved. Unauthorised use by way of copying, storage, reproduction, publishing electronically or otherwise, transmitting in any form or by any means in whole or in part is prohibited. This website is provided solely for your own use and you should not, without Computicket’s written permission, transfer or sell or attempt to transfer or sell access to or use of this website (or any part or facility of it) or any of your rights or obligations under these terms and conditions to any other person.
Computicket endeavours to maintain the accuracy and the quality of the information on their website. Information may be incorrect or outdated and do not constitute definitive or complete information relating to an event or performance or any other subject matter.
4. Event Bookings
Each event or performance may have its own entry conditions and Computciket recommends that you view these prior to purchasing tickets. They are available on the event advertising media.
No order placed by you is deemed to be accepted by Computicket until a written acknowledgement of order is issued by Computicket and Computicket has received the payment due.
You warrant that all information you give to Computicket while using the website is correct. If the information changes prior to your attendance of the event or performance, it is your responsibility to notify Computicket as soon as possible.
Tropical Nites Theatre reserves the right to cancel or postpone an event or performance at any time prior to the event or performance taking place. Except as stated in Section 7, Computicket is not liable to give any refund or exchange for any event or performance booked by you through any other website.
By clicking the “I Accept” button at the end of these terms and conditions and by completing the booking form you are deemed to have made an offer to book an event or performance subject to these terms and conditions.
5. Tickets
It is your responsibility to check the information contained in the acknowledgement of order and that the ticket information is accurate prior to your attendance of the event or performance. On receipt of your confirmation e-mail, please check that your tickets are for the correct event or performance, date and time, as mistakes cannot necessarily be rectified on the day of the event or performance.
By purchasing tickets the e-mail account you nominate may receive information from Tropical Nites Theatre or the event promoter relating to the event or performance you have purchased tickets for, or other events they are producing. You may opt in or out of this mailing list at any time by following the unsubscribe directions.
It is illegal to re-sell tickets for profit or gain and any person or company attempting to do so may be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. Any such resale will render the booking void and the ticket holder may be refused entry into the theatre.
Computicket and Tropical Nites Theatre reserve the right not to sell tickets to any person, agent or company.
Subject to availability and receipt of payment, requests will be processed within 1 day and delivery confirmed by way of e-mail containing the booking number.
Tickets may be delivered as print-at-home tickets or purchased in Checkers Kiosk.
6. Discounts and Concessions
All discounts are subject to availability where applicable and may be withdrawn at the discretion of One Way Productions without prior notice, and do not apply to tickets already purchased. Tropical Nites Theatre and One Way Productions reserves the right to introduce discounts and price changes without prior notice.
7. Refunds and Exchanges
Tropical Nites Theatre does not offer the option to exchange tickets or refund money. Only in exceptional circumstances, as deemed appropriate by Tropical Nites Theatre, will an exchange of ticket or refund be given.
7.1. Rescheduled event or performance.
Tropical Nites Theatre reserves the right to alter the lineup, date, time and/or venue. If the event or performance is rescheduled then your ticket to the advertised event or performance will remain valid. If you cannot attend a rescheduled event or performance and you contact Tropical Nites Theatre in a timely manner and provide the original ticket(s) and proof of purchase, Tropical Nites Theatre will refund to you, within 30 days, the full ticket price less delivery or mail fees, if any.
7.2. Cancellation.
If the event or performance is cancelled because of the occurrence of any event beyond the control of Tropical Nites Theatre then refunds shall be at Tropical Nites Theatre’s sole and absolute discretion. If the event or performance is cancelled for any other reason, Computicket will refund to you, within 30 days, the full ticket price less delivery or mail fees, if any, provided that the original ticket(s) and proof of purchase are presented.
7.3. No Show / Failure to collect tickets / Delivery fulfilment.
Computicket fulfils its commitment to you for the sale of tickets by providing a print-at-home ticket to you or by making the ticket available to collect. If for any reason you are unable to collect all or part of your ticket(s) so purchased, Computicket will not refund your purchase. If you would like to enquire about any unusual circumstance that you believe may warrant a refund outside of the terms and conditions stated herein, you should contact Tropical Nites Theatre immediately 078 988 5575.
8. Responsible Party
Computicket on behalf of Tropical Nites Theatre takes responsibility for all aspects relating to the transaction including tickets sold, customer service and support, dispute resolution and delivery of tickets.
9. Privacy
Your privacy is respected and Computicket and Tropical Nites Theatre are obliged to protect your privacy by law. Computicket uses the latest security technology to ensure the protection of your details.
Your details will be stored by Computicket separately from card details which are entered by you on secure site. For more detail contact Computicket directly.
Computicket shall take all reasonable steps to protect your personal information. For the purpose of this clause, “personal information” shall be defined as detailed in The Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 (PAIA).

Information transmitted via the Internet is susceptible to monitoring and interception. You therefore transmit any information that may be confidential, proprietary or sensitive in nature entirely at your own risk and under no circumstances is Computicket or Tropical Nites Theatre/One Way Productions liable for any loss, harm or damage that you may suffer as a result thereof.
10. Payment
Payment may be made via American Express, Diners Club, Visa, MasterCard credit/debit cards into Computicket bank account.
Unless otherwise notified to you in writing before acceptance of the order the price of the ticket for the event or performance shall be the price set out on Computicket.
All prices of tickets quoted on the website are inclusive of Value Added Tax which amount will be payable by you.
You are required to pay the ticket price upon completion of the booking form.
11. Merchant Outlet country and transaction currency
The merchant outlet country at the time of presenting payment options to the cardholder is South Africa. The transaction currency is South African Rand (ZAR).
12. Security
Credit card transactions will be acquired for Computicket who are the approved payment gateway that uses the strictest form of encryption and no credit card details are stored on the website. Users may go to Computicket to view their security certificate and security policy.
At no stage does your credit/debit card number get collected or stored in Computicket’s system.
13. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
The information are provided “as is” and Computicket and Tropical Nites Theatre/One Way Productions makes no express or implied representations or warranties with regard thereto. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing:
You acknowledge that any order that Computicket accepts is to be performed and managed by a third party (i.e. Tropical Nites Theatre , a theatre or production company) and that we have no control over the performance and/or quality of such an event or performance. Therefore all such bookings will be on the terms and conditions of the relevant event holder and we accept no liability in respect of any such event or performance.
14. Fraud Policy
This policy is designed to protect the interests and security of Tropical Nites Theatre.
14.1. When Ordering
Computicket may record your host name, IP address and the time and date of the purchase to assure safety and security in completing any order. Computicket may use this information for prosecution purposes. This information is only collected for fraud prevention and will not be sold / disclosed to any third party. Our on-line processing gateway automatically checks the database of your credit or debit card provider for reported lost or stolen card numbers and to verify against information from credit or debit card providers that informs Computicket of lost, stolen and continual chargeback credit or debit card numbers.
14.2. When You deny or dispute a charge
If you dispute a charge, you should contact Computicket immediately. Any person(s) committing fraud on this website may be dealt with to the highest penalty allowable under law, without exception. If you falsely dispute a charge or falsely deny a payment on your credit card, Computicket will institute legal proceedings against you to recover the amount disputed, plus interest and attorney and own client costs. Credit card fraud is a serious offense and will be prosecuted to the fullest extent possible.
14.3. Purchasing tickets through unofficial channels
Tropical Nites Theatre sells tickets via it’s official ticketing service provider – Computicket. Tickets sold on or by any other site is illegal and will not be honoured.
15. Country of domicile
This is governed by the laws of South Africa and Tropical Nites Theatre chooses as its domicilium citandi et executandi for all purposes under these terms and conditions, whether in respect of court process, notice or other documents or communication of whatsoever nature, Wild Coast Sun, Main Bizana Road, Port Edward, KZN, South Africa.
