Refund policy

By purchasing a The Great Escape Festival ticket(s) and/or camping packages, you agree to the following and understand that: You need to be 18 years old or older in order to gain access into The Great Escape Festival. The event organizer may change the rules/policies at their own discretion. In the event that an artist on the line-up is unable to perform at the festival or their performance is cancelled, there will be no refunds offered. The Great Escape Organizers will endeavour to find a suitable replacement for the artist who will no longer perform. The Great Escape Festival tickets and camping passes are non-refundable. Should you no longer be able / willing to attend the festival for any reason whatsoever you (hereafter referred to as the ‘Ticket Holder’) will not be eligible for a refund on your festival ticket(s) and or camping pass(s). You need to have your ID/passport number ready for the ticket booking process. Please read the terms and conditions of purchase, as well as have a full understanding of the festival’s Refunds Policy (please see Refunds Policy on Computicket).

Festival Rules

You must have a valid ticket and wear your designated wristband at all times during the event. Wristbands are typically non-transferable and should not be removed or tampered with. Festivals age restriction is 18 years or older. Minors may be allowed with specific conditions, such as accompanied by a guardian or providing a signed waiver. Respect designated camping areas and pitch tents only in designated locations. Follow any size restrictions for tents and camping equipment. Adhere to check-in and check-out times for camping areas. List of prohibited items for safety and security include weapons, drugs, fireworks, glass bottles, drones, and other potentially hazardous or illegal items. Festival site and campsites are designated areas for alcohol consumption. No outside alcohol brought from the Camping site allowed in the Festival area. No hubblies allowed on the Festival area, before during and after any performances. Respect fellow attendees, festival staff, and performers. Any form of harassment, violence, or disruptive behaviour is not tolerated. Follow instructions from festival staff and security personnel for your safety and the safety of others. Be aware of emergency exits, medical facilities, and safety protocols. Keep the festival grounds clean and dispose of trash in designated bins. Respect the natural environment and any protected areas surrounding the festival site. Do not damage trees, plants, or wildlife. Enjoy the music but be considerate of other campers and neighbouring areas. Follow any specified quiet hours or volume restrictions during nighttime hours. Respect any restrictions on photography or recording, especially during performances. Some festivals may have policies against professional camera equipment or recording without permission. Report lost items or inquire about found items at designated locations.

Event Cancelation

The Great Escape Festival may be subject to cancellation or rescheduling due to unforeseen circumstances or "acts of God" beyond the control of the organizers. This can include natural disasters, extreme weather conditions, pandemics, government regulations, or other emergencies. In the event of cancellation, organizers may offer ticket refunds. Refund options may include full refunds, partial refunds, or the option to transfer the ticket to a rescheduled event. Instead of cancellation, the event may be rescheduled or postponed to a later date. In such cases, ticket holders will be given the option to use their existing tickets for the rescheduled event or request a refund. Organizers of The Great Escape will typically provide updates and communicate any cancellations or changes through their official channels. It is advisable to regularly check these official communication channels for the most up-to-date information regarding event status.

The Great Escape Festival services are provided subject to applicable law and consumer protection legislation, but are otherwise provided without any warranty, and not subject to any condition (express or implied), except as specifically stated in the Site. We cannot guarantee continuous, uninterrupted or secure access to the service and operation of the Computicket and The Great Escape Festival sites. Computicket and The Great Escape Festival will not be held liable for any indirect, special or consequential losses of any kind whatsoever arising from, or in connection with any booking (whether in contract, statute or delict). Users acknowledge that access to the ticket booking Site may occasionally be restricted to allow for repairs, maintenance or the introduction of new facilities or services. Computicket and The Great Escape Festival will attempt to restore the Site as soon as reasonably possible. Users acknowledge that by purchasing a The Great Escape Festival and Bruno’s House Productions, its affiliates may use the photographs and video footage containing yourself or likeness for marketing and promotional purposes, and other business. Users acknowledge that tickets purchased for The Great Escape Festival may not be used for personal promotions or to run campaigns/competitions on personal or business platforms, both print and social media, and that in order to run a giveaway of any The Great Escape Festival ticket or camping pass, the user needs to be granted written, signed permission from Bruno’s House Productions.

Communal Toilets And Showers

Our festival Communal Toilets and Showers will be allocated for the following ticket holders: (1) Day and Weekend Pass Ticket Holders. (2) Self-Setup Camping. (3) Camping Community Packages for Singles and Couples.

Our festival Private Toilets and Showers will only be allocated for the following ticket holders: Glamping Packages

Party Alert

The Great Escape is a Camping Lifestyle and Music Festival. We are a 4 Day and 3 Night Experience. The good times will be rolling from Friday 12:00 Midday till Sunday Midday with check out on Monday 10:00 in the morning.

Strict non-refundable R1 000 per person booking fee is required and balance payable two weeks prior the event.
