The Durban City Orchestra

The Durban City Orchestra presents a Concert of Classical Music featuring the popular "Unfinished" Symphony by Schubert, Finlandia by Sibelius and the beautiful "Fantasia Brilliante" by Borne, for Solo Flute and Orchestra. The Flute soloist is Nolwazi Nkwanyana, a Cadet musician with the KZN Philharmonic Orchestra and the work is based on Themes from Carmen by Bizet. The Conductor is Charl Van Der Merwe, Principal Bassoonist with the KZN Philharmonic, and the Concertmaster is Durban professional violinist Jitske Brien.
