The Coves Community family Day

A family fun day at The Coves waterfront

• Start the day with a 5km colour trail run for the whole family and then head to the waterfront for a full day of entertainment!

• A HUGE waterpark has been arranged by The Coves for children of all ages to enjoy! (remember the last waterpark.... think bigger! We have also fixed all electricity issues we battled with last time so no delays in getting the day started)

• Grab delicious easy food from The Oaks at the jetty or purchase a graze box for you and a partner to enjoy for the day.

• Braai areas are on a first come first serve basis with no booking by placing items on the areas the night before. Picnic spots are also available.

• There will be a DJ providing good vibes during the day and a live band to close off.

• An air display by our favourite aviator Jason Beamish will begin near sunset.

Start the day at 8:30 with family and friends and run the 5km colour fun trail run.

We strongly advise you DO NOT bring your dog/s as the paint powder might frighten them.

SIP & STROLL ROUTE

10h30 - 15h00

You and your guests will be enjoying our specifically chosen vendors and appreciate their finest wines, as well as a beer tasting station and gin stand.

Walk at an easy pace and enjoy the scenery as you explore our wondrous forest and inland dams.

Proceeds for the day will be going to Flying For Freedom South Africa to help save our beloved rhinos.

All those over 18 can enjoy a sip and stroll wine walk through the forest with a branded wine glass and goodie bag to help store items and keep your hands free to enjoy fine wine.

Due to the nature of the terrain an offroad pram might be challenging but not impossible. The Coves Residents dogs are welcome on the route but the following terms apply

• All dogs must be on lead

• Please provide water for your dogs

• Pick up after your dog/s

• Only dogs registered within The Coves estate will be allowed.

Minimum age of 18 years to partake in any of the alcohol tasting activities

• Your safety is our number one concern. COVID protocols have been implemented for the safety of both attendees and staff alike. The number of attendees will be limited to this event.

• No swimming in the Hartbeespoort dam will be permitted.

• We will have additional security & paramedics on site.
