Sophiatown is about forced removals that took place during 1950's. Sophiatown highlight protests against oppression and it also aims to remember and celebrate the historical township of Sophiatown where people of different races and cultural backgrounds shared common goals and a sense of community. Performers are a young cast under the guidance of Stanley Letebele directed by Mncedise Thambe.
