Before you participate in any of our activities, please take a moment to read and understand the following disclaimer. By participating in our events, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined below: Assumption of Risk: Participation in BMX activities involves inherent risks, including but not limited to falls, collisions, and equipment malfunctions. You acknowledge these risks and agree to participate at your own risk. Safety Equipment: It is mandatory to wear appropriate safety gear, including a full face helmet, full finger gloves, long sleeve jersey, long pants/short pants with knee and shin guard and any other protective equipment deemed necessary for the activity. This is for your own safety and failure to do so may result in injury. Skill Levels: Members/Visitors must accurately represent their skill level and capabilities. Always choose activities that align with your experience and proficiency. Respect and Sportsmanship: Members/Visitors are expected to treat each other, other riders, officials, and the public with respect, fairness, and courtesy. Discrimination, harassment, or aggressive behaviour will not be tolerated. Insurance and Medical Coverage: It is the responsibility of each rider to have adequate personal insurance and medical coverage. The club is not liable for any injuries or damages incurred during club, racing or training activities. Parental Consent (if applicable): For members under the age of 18, parental or guardian consent is required to participate in club activities. Behavioural Expectations: Riders are expected to conduct themselves in a manner that reflects positively on the club and sport. Any behaviour deemed detrimental to the sport's reputation may result in disqualification. Code of Conduct: Members/Visitors must adhere to the provincial’s rider's, parent's and official's code of conduct which may be provided separately upon request. Photography and Videography: By participating in club activities, you consent to being photographed or recorded for promotional or informational purposes. If you wish to opt out, please inform the club in writing. Waiver and Release of Liability: By participating in club activities/races/training, you hereby release Zone 7 BMX Club, its officers, organizers, sponsors and affiliates from any liability for injury, loss, or damage incurred during activities.
