Assumption of Risk, Waiver of Liability, and Release

By participating in, attending, or otherwise being involved in Pray, Sip and Talk (the “Event”), you acknowledge and agree to the following:

1.  Assumption of Risk: You understand that participation in the Event involves inherent risks of physical injury, illness (including communicable diseases such as COVID-19), property damage, or death, whether caused by you, other participants, spectators, equipment, weather, venue conditions, or other factors. You voluntarily assume all such risks, known and unknown.

2.  Waiver of Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, you release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue Seipati Ngwejane, Tatso Brands, Tan Events, Venue Owner(s), Sponsors, Affiliates, Officers, Employees, Volunteers, and Agents (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from any and all claims, demands, damages, losses, or liabilities (including legal fees) arising from your participation in or attendance at the Event—whether caused by negligence, gross negligence, or otherwise.

3.  Medical Consent: In the event of an injury or medical emergency, you consent to emergency medical treatment and agree to be financially responsible for any costs incurred.

4.  Photo/Video Release: You grant the Released Parties permission to capture your likeness, image, voice, or performance in any media (photographs, video, live stream, etc.) and to use such media for promotional, commercial, or archival purposes without compensation or further approval.

5.  Code of Conduct: You agree to follow all Event rules, safety instructions, and venue policies. The Released Parties reserve the right to refuse entry or eject any person for unsafe, disruptive, or unlawful behaviour, without refund.

6.  Governing Law: This disclaimer shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa , and any legal action must be brought exclusively in the courts of the City of Matlosana.

BY REGISTERING, PURCHASING A TICKET, ENTERING THE VENUE, OR OTHERWISE PARTICIPATING IN THE EVENT, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ AND AGREE TO THIS DISCLAIMER IN FULL.
