About this event

Observe the "Super Blue Moon" and Saturn

On August 30th, 2023, be sure to join us in observing an exciting astronomical event - the Super Blue Moon in conjunction with Saturn!

  • This rare event will occur in the night sky, when the moon is full and near its closest point to Earth in its orbit.
  • The moon will appear about 14% larger in the night sky than a typical full moon.
  • Saturn will be visible to the naked eye on the same night, and will be nestled just to the left of the moon.

The event will begin at 6:00pm on August 30th and will last until 7:30pm. Be sure to join us in this once in a lifetime opportunity to observe the Super Blue Moon and Saturn in the night sky. This is an event you won't want to miss!
