By purchasing a ticket and/or attending the North West Picnic Food Fest (“the Event”), you agree to the following Terms and Conditions:
The North West Picnic Food Fest will take place on 28 February 2026 at Cooke’s Lake, Mahikeng, North West Province. Event times and programme details are subject to change at the organiser’s discretion.
All tickets must be purchased through authorised platforms only.
Tickets are valid for single entry only unless stated otherwise.
Re-entry is not permitted unless authorised by event management.
Tickets must be presented for scanning at the gate (printed or digital).
The organiser reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any person who fails to comply with event rules, without refund.
One (1) child under the age of 6 years enters free per paying adult ticket holder.
Any additional children under the age of 6 must have a valid paid kids ticket.
Children aged 6 years and older require a paid ticket.
Proof of age may be requested at the gate.
All children must be accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult at all times.
Following receipt of your booking cancellation or returned tickets, we will refund you the face value paid for the relevant tickets (or, if a discounted ticket, then instead the discounted ticket price paid), provided that reasonable cancellation charges as determined by the Event Organiser may be charged and deducted from such refund. Unless otherwise stipulated by the Event Organiser and depending on the prevailing circumstances the following cancellation charges may apply:
- If the cancellation occurs more than 30 days prior to the event a 15% cancellation fee will apply;
- If the cancellation occurs less than 30 but more than 7 days prior to the event a 50% cancellation fee will apply;
- If the cancellation occurs less than 7 days prior to the event a 100% cancellation fee will apply;
- Notwithstanding the aforesaid, if you can provide us with suitable documentary proof that a person in whose name a ticket was booked will not be able to attend the event because of his/her death and/or hospitalisation, no cancellation fee will apply in respect of the cancellation of such person's ticket.
The event lineup, activities, and schedule are subject to change without prior notice.
The organiser does not guarantee the appearance of any specific artist, vendor, or attraction.
Changes do not constitute grounds for a refund.
The event is family-friendly. Disorderly, abusive, dangerous, or illegal behaviour will not be tolerated.
Security checks may be conducted at entry points.
The organiser reserves the right to confiscate prohibited items and remove offenders.
Attendees enter the venue at their own risk.
The following are strictly prohibited:
Weapons or sharp objects
Illegal substances
Outside alcohol
Glass containers
Fireworks or flares
Drones (unless authorised)
Any item deemed unsafe by event security
Alcohol will only be sold to persons 18 years and older with valid identification.
The organiser promotes responsible drinking and reserves the right to refuse alcohol service.
No outside alcohol is permitted inside the venue.
The event is an outdoor event and will proceed rain or shine unless conditions are deemed unsafe.
No refunds will be issued due to weather conditions beyond the organiser’s control.
By entering the event, attendees consent to being photographed or recorded for promotional, marketing, and media purposes.
The organiser retains the right to use such content without compensation.
Food, beverage, and merchandise vendors operate independently.
The organiser is not responsible for transactions, pricing, or products sold by vendors.
The organiser shall not be liable for failure to perform obligations due to events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, extreme weather, government regulations, or emergencies.
The organiser complies with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
By purchasing a ticket, entering the event, or providing personal information (including name, contact number, email address or social media details), you consent to the collection and lawful processing of your information.
Personal information will be used for:
Event administration and communication
Marketing, promotions, and future Picnic Food Fest events
Partner and sponsor-related communications where relevant
Your information will not be sold or unlawfully shared with third parties.
You may opt out of marketing communications at any time by:
Using the unsubscribe option provided, or
Contacting the organiser directly to request removal from the database
Upon request, your personal information will be corrected or deleted in accordance with POPIA.
These Terms & Conditions are subject to change without prior notice.
The organiser’s decision in all matters relating to the event is final.
Attendance constitutes full acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
