TERMS AND CONDITIONS
National Fashion Show – Union Buildings, 24 September 2025
1. GENERAL
1.1 These terms and conditions apply to all participants, attendees, designers, models, vendors, sponsors, and media personnel at the National Fashion Show hosted by Menlyn Fashion Week.
1.2 By purchasing a ticket, registering as a participant, or attending the event, you agree to abide by these terms.
2. TICKETS & ENTRY
2.1 Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable unless otherwise stated by the organizers.
2.2 Entry is only permitted with a valid ticket or accreditation issued by Menlyn Fashion Week.
2.3 Attendees must follow all security protocols and present valid identification if required.
3. PARTICIPATION
3.1 Designers, models, and other participants must be officially registered with Menlyn Fashion Week.
3.2 Models under 18 must have written consent from a parent or guardian.
3.3 Designers are responsible for their garments and collections; Menlyn Fashion Week is not liable for lost, stolen, or damaged items.
3.4 Participants must adhere to the event schedule and arrive at designated times for rehearsals and showcases.
4. SPONSORS & VENDORS
4.1 Sponsors and vendors must sign a formal agreement with Menlyn Fashion Week before participating.
4.2 Vendors are responsible for their stalls, merchandise, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
4.3 Menlyn Fashion Week reserves the right to remove any vendor or sponsor who violates event policies.
5. MEDIA & PHOTOGRAPHY
5.1 By attending, you consent to being photographed and recorded for promotional purposes.
5.2 Unauthorized professional photography or videography is prohibited unless approved by Menlyn Fashion Week.
5.3 Media personnel must have official accreditation to access press areas.
6. CODE OF CONDUCT
6.1 Attendees and participants must conduct themselves professionally and respectfully.
6.2 Any form of harassment, discrimination, or misconduct will result in removal from the event.
6.3 Alcohol and drug use are strictly prohibited during the event and backstage.
7. LIABILITY & INDEMNITY
7.1 Menlyn Fashion Week is not responsible for personal injuries, loss, or damage to property during the event.
7.2 Attendees and participants assume all risks associated with their involvement in the event.
8. CANCELLATION & FORCE MAJEURE
8.1 Menlyn Fashion Week reserves the right to reschedule, cancel, or modify the event due to unforeseen circumstances.
8.2 In the event of cancellation, ticket holders may be entitled to a refund, subject to terms outlined by the organizers.
9. AMENDMENTS
9.1 Menlyn Fashion Week reserves the right to update these terms and conditions at any time.
