Terms and Conditions for the Fundraising Fashion Show Event
1. Event Details
1.1 The Fundraising Fashion Show ("Event") is hosted by Tlayishego Pebane, to raise funds for an international trip to compete in Mister Universe Tourism.
1.2 The Event will take place on 01 MARCH 2025 at Sizzlespot R40 Mainroad, Tsakane, Acornhoek, starting at 02h00pm.
1.3 Tickets for the Event are sold through Computicket ("Ticketing Platform").
2. Ticket Purchases
2.1 All tickets must be purchased through Computicket and are subject to their terms and conditions.
2.2 Ticket prices are non-negotiable and include entry to the Event only. Additional purchases, such as refreshments or merchandise, will incur separate charges.
2.3 Ticket holders must retain their tickets as proof of purchase and present them at the venue for entry.
2.4 All sales are final, and no refunds or exchanges will be offered, except as required by the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 ("CPA").
3. Entry Requirements
3.1 Admission to the Event is restricted to ticket holders only.
3.2 Attendees must present a valid ticket (physical or digital) at the entrance. Lost or stolen tickets will not be replaced.
3.3 The Event is open to all ages; however, minors under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
4. Event Conduct
4.1 Attendees are expected to behave respectfully and courteously towards others at all times.
4.2 The Event organizers reserve the right to refuse entry or eject any attendee who:
- Is under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
- Engages in disruptive, abusive, or unlawful behavior.
- Fails to comply with venue or Event staff instructions.
5. Liability and Responsibility
5.1 The Event organizers and venue will not be held liable for any personal injury, loss, or damage to property incurred during the Event unless caused by gross negligence as defined under South African law.
5.2 Attendees are responsible for safeguarding their personal belongings throughout the Event.
6. Photography and Media
6.1 By attending the Event, attendees consent to being photographed or filmed. Images or recordings may be used for promotional purposes by the Event organizers.
6.2 Attendees are not permitted to use professional photography or videography equipment without prior authorization.
7. Cancellations or Postponements
7.1 The Event organizers reserve the right to cancel or postpone the Event due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to weather, safety concerns, or other events beyond their control.
7.2 In the event of cancellation or postponement, ticket holders will be notified through the Ticketing Platform and official communication channels, in accordance with the CPA.
8. COVID-19 and Health Guidelines
8.1 Attendees must adhere to all health and safety protocols in place at the time of the Event, including but not limited to wearing masks, sanitizing hands, and maintaining social distancing, as required by South African regulations.
8.2 If you feel unwell or have been in contact with someone diagnosed with a contagious illness, please refrain from attending the Event.
9. Governing Law
9.1 These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising in connection with the Event will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in South Africa.
10. Amendments
10.1 The Event organizers reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be communicated through official channels.
By purchasing a ticket and attending the Event, you agree to these terms and conditions.
