As South Africa celebrates Women’s Month, MOC proudly presents the first-ever all-women traditional combat sports event, where the Queens of Musangwe will make history by becoming the first women to headline a traditional combat sports card of this scale.

This moment is bigger than competition. It is about honouring courage, breaking barriers, preserving culture, and creating opportunities for women in combat sports.

The Department of Sport, Arts and Culture has kicked off Women’s Month by promoting women’s boxing and encouraging greater female participation in combat sports. In that same spirit, MOC continues to open new doors by showcasing women in Musangwe, one of Africa’s oldest traditional combat sports.
