MTB Challenge & Trail Run

Please join us for Breaking Ground @ Imbabali Retreat & Venue 2025 on 11 October! Get ready for an exciting MTB Cycle Race as well as a Trail Run as we explore the stunning landscapes of Imbabali. The race promises an exhilarating mix of fast gravel roads, technical single tracks, rocky descents, water crossings, and breathtaking ridgeline views.

Entry Fees:

• MTB Cycle Race:

• 80km - R550

• 40km - R450

• 20km – R350

• 10km – R250

• Trail Run:

• 8km - R150

• 15km - R250

Event Details:

• Registration opens at 05:00.

• Kick off the day with a bacon & egg roll from our restaurant

Race Start Times:

• 80km MTB Race: 06:30

• 40km MTB Race: 06:45

• 20km MTB Race: 07:00

• 10km MTB Race: 07:15

• 8km & 15km Trail Run: 07:00

Prizes:(Prizegiving will take place once the last contestant has come in)

• Categories – MTB 40 & 80km: Overall Winner, Junior U18, Adults 18–39, Masters 40–49, Veterans 50+

• MTB 10 & 20 km: Overall Winner, respectively

• Trail Run: 8&15 km: Overall Winner, respectively
