Event Description: Mmarona Ke Doek – Gospel Experience Picnic
Mmarona Ke Doek – Gospel Experience Picnic is a vibrant and spiritual celebration dedicated to faith, culture, and self-love. It’s a one-of-a-kind gospel experience where women and ladies, proudly called Mmarona, wear their Doek (headwrap) in fashionable and stylish ways — embracing their identity, beauty, and culture. Men, affectionately known as Moholo, will dress smartly with ties, completing the elegant cultural expression of unity and respect.
Set to take place in Pretoria on 6 December 2025, this special event offers a full-day and night of soulful experiences, connection, and entertainment. The day begins with a picnic session from 10:00 AM to 17:00 PM, featuring relaxation, laughter, and inspiration in a family-friendly environment. As the sun sets, the energy rises with a live gospel event from 18:00 PM until 06:00 AM, filled with music, praise, and performances from talented artists.
To accommodate fans traveling from afar, a camp site will be available, ensuring everyone can fully enjoy the two-part experience. The event welcomes people of all ages and backgrounds — a true reflection of unity and togetherness in Christ.
We expect to welcome more than 3,000 fans, with hundreds of cars and buses arriving from different parts of South Africa and Botswana, showing the growing love and support for the Mmarona movement.
The event promises a joyful, safe, and uplifting atmosphere with food, drinks, and items sold at the venue, making sure everyone enjoys a complete experience of comfort and celebration.
To make the day even more special, we will be giving away 100 free Doeks to the first 100 ladies to arrive at the venue — a special thank-you to our early supporters and fashion queens. In addition, two free buses will be provided to the location that buys the most tickets, helping more fans join in this unforgettable celebration.
Tickets start from as little as R70, making this gospel and cultural celebration accessible to everyone.
Supported by audiences from across South Africa and Botswana, Mmarona Ke Doek is more than an event; it’s a movement that promotes cultural pride, self-care, and faith through music and fellowship.
