for Mihlali Festival

MIHLALI FESTIVAL – ONLINE TICKETING TERMS & CONDITIONS (UPDATED WITH KIDDIES AREA)

1. Ticket Purchase

  • Tickets must be purchased through authorized platforms such as Computicket only.

  • Tickets are non-refundable, non-transferable, and non-exchangeable unless required by law.

  • Ensure all personal details during purchase are correct.

2. Entry Requirements

  • A valid ticket (digital or printed) is required for festival entry.

  • One ticket admits one attendee. Duplicate or changed tickets will be denied entry.

  • Main Festival Age Restriction: Strictly 18–35.

  • Children are NOT permitted in the main festival zone, but are allowed in the dedicated Kiddies Area only.

3. Kiddies Area Policy

  • A secure, supervised Kiddies Area will be available.

  • Only children aged 3–12 years may access the Kiddies Area.

  • Children must be registered on arrival.

  • Parents/guardians must sign a Child Safety & Indemnity Register.

  • Children must be collected by the same guardian who dropped them off.

  • No child will be released to anyone without verified identification.

  • The festival provides caregivers, play equipment, and safety protocols, but parents remain ultimately responsible.

4. Identification

  • All attendees in the main festival zone must present:

  • SA ID, Driver’s Licence, or Passport.

  • The ID must match the name on the ticket.

5. Safety, Security & Bag Checks

  • All attendees and children entering the Kiddies Area may be subject to security screening.

  • Prohibited items include:

    • Weapons

    • Alcohol & illegal substances

    • Outside drinks or food

    • Sharp/dangerous objects

    • Glass bottles

  • The festival reserves the right to deny entry or confiscate prohibited items.

6. Event Conduct

  • Disrespect, violence, vandalism, harassment, or discrimination will result in removal without refund.

  • Parents must ensure children behave safely and follow instructions inside the Kiddies Area.

7. Event Changes, Postponement or Cancellation

  • Organizers reserve the right to adjust the line-up, timing, and program for safety or operational reasons.

  • If postponed, tickets remain valid.

  • If cancelled, refunds will be processed through Computicket according to their policy.

8. Health & Risk Mitigation

  • You enter the event site at your own risk.

  • The festival is not liable for:

    • Personal injury

    • Loss, theft, or damage of property

    • Child injuries due to negligence of parents

  • First-aid and safety personnel will be on site.

9. Media & Photography

  • Photos and videos may be taken during the event.

  • By entering the festival or Kiddies Area, you consent to your images being used for promotional purposes.

10. Food, Drinks & Vendors

  • Outside food or drinks are prohibited in the main festival area.

  • Approved vendors meet required hygiene and licensing standards.

  • Only kid-appropriate snacks will be permitted inside the Kiddies Area.

11. Refunds & Disputes

  • No refunds for missed events, misconduct removal, or lost/stolen tickets.

  • Refunds occur only if the event is officially cancelled.

  • All disputes must go through the Computicket service channels.
