Mapaputsi's Kasi Lami Birthday Celebration With Legends

A community-based birthday celebration of Kwaito legend Mapaputsi with other music legends in his hometown of Zola in Soweto. As a sign of gratitude, he wants to celebrate with his community that made him the legend he is today and show others the limitless possibilities and power of dreams. 

He has chosen two schools in Zola, Soweto, schools that he  attended. Namely, Busisiwe Junior Primary School and Zola Senior Primary School. The day before the event, Friday, February 10, 2023, he plans to provide food parcels, school uniforms and stationery to 50 students from each school.

And at least 50 households from the community, as some households are child-headed. In addition, the needy students and their households will receive wellness (mental health) support. 

This is not just a celebration for Mapaputsi and his greatness, but for the entire Zola community, which has produced many stars, exceptional entrepreneurs, etc. This will be an unforgettable experience and remind us all that we too are important, no matter where we come from and that all our dreams are valid.
