Mandeni Homecoming Picnic (MHCP) is the event is use in other to welcome all those who live and work far away from home during the festive season and all visitors from around KZN and throughout the country.

The Event contributes positively towards promoting Ilembe District’s holiday and tourists attractions through the KZN Province’s defining experiences, ‘WHATZFFOB’ – Warmth, Heritage, Adventure, Trade Gateway, Zulu, Fun, Family-Orientated and Beaches.
