MANYATJA EVENTS & KONKA: OFFICIAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. GENERAL AGREEMENT
1.1. This ticket is a revocable license that grants admission to the specified event venue ("Venue") only.
1.2. By purchasing this ticket from Computicket, the holder ("Guest") agrees to comply with all rules set by Manyatja Events, Konka, and the Venue.
2. RIGHT OF ADMISSION RESERVED (ROAR)
2.1. Admission is subject to age restrictions. No persons under the age of 18 will be permitted (ID required).
2.2. Manyatja Events and Konka reserve the right to refuse entry or eject any person whose conduct is deemed disorderly, who uses vulgar language, or who fails to comply with security searches.
2.3. No tickets will be refunded if entry is refused due to intoxication or non-compliance with the dress code.
3. REFUNDS, CANCELLATIONS & TRANSFERS
3.1. All sales are final. In accordance with the Consumer Protection Act, a cancellation fee of up to 100% applies for "no-shows."
3.2. Hospitalisation & Death: A full refund will be issued if the ticket holder is unable to attend due to hospitalisation or death, subject to providing valid documentary proof to Computicket Customer Care.
3.3. Resale: The unauthorized resale of tickets for profit is prohibited. Any ticket found on secondary "scalping" sites will be cancelled without refund.
4. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY & ASSUMPTION OF RISK
4.1. VOLUNTARY RISK: The Guest enters the Venue at their own risk. Manyatja Events, Konka, and their affiliates are not liable for any loss, theft, or damage to personal property, nor for any injury or death, regardless of the cause.
4.2. Loud Music: Exposure to loud music may cause hearing loss. Attendees are encouraged to take necessary precautions.
5. PROHIBITED ITEMS
To ensure the safety of all guests, the following are strictly prohibited:
Weapons, ammunition, or sharp objects.
Illegal substances and paraphernalia.
Outside food and beverages (unless a specific "Cooler Box" ticket is purchased and validated).
Professional cameras (DSLR), drones, or audio recording equipment.
Glass bottles of any kind.
6. FILMING AND PHOTOGRAPHY (MEDIA CONSENT)
6.1. By attending, you acknowledge that you may be filmed, photographed, or recorded.
6.2. You grant Manyatja Events and Konka an irrevocable, perpetual license to use your likeness in any media (including social media and TV) for promotional purposes without compensation.
7. EVENT ALTERATIONS
7.1. The organiser reserves the right to substitute artists, alter the lineup, or change the program schedule without prior notice. Such changes do not constitute a "material change" entitling the Guest to a refund.
7.2. In the event of a total cancellation, the face value of the ticket will be refunded via Computicket’s refund process.
Social Media & Media Disclosure
By purchasing a ticket or entering the venue, you agree to the following terms regarding social media and digital content:
Media Consent: You acknowledge that Manyatja Events and Konka (and their authorized partners) will be filming and photographing the event. You grant the organisers an irrevocable, perpetual, and royalty-free license to use your likeness, voice, and image in any media—including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube—for promotional, marketing, and commercial purposes without compensation or further approval.
User-Generated Content (UGC): If you tag Manyatja Events or Konka in your social media posts or use our official event hashtags, you grant us permission to repost or share your content on our official channels.
POPIA Compliance: Your personal information (likeness) is processed for the legitimate business interest of event promotion. You have the right to request the removal of specific images of yourself from our digital platforms by contacting the organiser in writing.
Third-Party Content & Defamation: The organisers are not responsible for content posted by third parties or other attendees on social media. Any attendee posting defamatory, offensive, or illegal content regarding the event may be held personally liable under South African law.
Copyright & Music: We do not own the rights to all music captured in social media clips; such music is used for entertainment purposes only. Use of professional recording equipment for commercial purposes by attendees is strictly prohibited without prior written consent.
9. GOVERNING LAW
9.1. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa
