Jun16th Challenge is an multiple code South African hosted youth event that is established to form part of the national wide brand of commemoration "YOUTH DAY" and we came to choice to be as an attempt of bringing out mainly the youth back to the street of SA not ducking nor running away from bull-ets but doing so sportively, the event feature "pay-for-entry" road running marathons that covers 42KM, 21KM and 10KM distances plus GRAND FINALE of sports tournament that is currently made of soccer/netball as maineventers and prior to also in-between the grand finale (16/06) it's supported by FUNdraising musical festival hosted national in accordance with the SA holiday calendar, educational seminar and sports tournament that is in two phases them being "district show off" whereby participating are strictly voted in then follow up by the "clash of champions" whereby all district champions will be fighting for the ultimate price.

The races are divided into three categories being regional this one is feature only the 10KM race, district this one feature two distances 10/21KM and provincial this one is the main event whereby all the distances are hosted in the same location, we are doing so for inclusivity to participants also to provide a great experience at the aspirin athletes nearest convenient, these are the current available code though we will expand as we grow and in conclusion JC operates under the banner of RUGroup doing that to assume responsibility for the administration of the event this autonomy will ensures that we can act in the best interests while upholding the highest standards of fairness, transparency and professionalism, RUG holds exclusive rights to all commercial and audiovisual aspects of all the programmes this includes broadcasting, sponsorship, merchandise and other revenue-generating avenues doing so to enables the event to harness its full potential for revenue generation and reinvest in the continued growth of the event as a whole.
