Event Rules
Age Restriction: No entry for individuals under 18 years. Valid SA ID, driver’s license, or passport required. No certified copies or student cards accepted.
Right of Admission Reserved (ROAR): Entry is subject to venue capacity, safety protocols, and compliance with all event rules.
Alcohol & Liquids: No alcohol or liquids (including water) may be brought into the venue. Alcohol will be sold by licensed vendors only, in accordance with the Liquor Act 59 of 2003.
Illegal Substances: Strictly prohibited. Offenders will be removed and may face legal action.
Cashless Event: No cash allowed on site. All major bank cards and mobile payment platforms accepted.
Conduct: Discrimination, hate speech, harassment, or violence against any individual or group will not be tolerated. Offenders will be removed and may face legal consequences under the Promotion of Equality and Prevention of Unfair Discrimination Act.
Photography Equipment: Professional gear is prohibited unless you are an accredited media representative. Mobile phones and compact cameras are permitted.
Re-entry Policy: If you leave the venue, you will undergo a full security check upon re-entry. Wristbands must remain intact.
Safety Compliance: The event complies with the Safety at Sports and Recreational Events Act (2010), including crowd control, emergency planning, and public liability insurance.
Competitions
Eligibility: You may not enter if you are a director, employee, agent, or consultant of Heart FM or its affiliates, or a close relative of such individuals. If someone in your household has won a Heart FM prize in the past 3 months, you are also ineligible.
Ticket Distribution: iHeartSundays tickets are only distributed via official competitions run by Heart FM and verified partners. Purchased tickets may not be used for third-party giveaways or promotions.
Non-transferable: Competition tickets are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. If you cannot attend, notify the issuing brand to cancel the ticket.
Winner Validation: Winners must match their full name as per their SA ID. If names differ, official Home Affairs documentation must be provided.
Entry Limits: Heart FM may limit the number of entries per person.
Late Entries: Entries received after the closing date will not be considered. Heart FM is not liable for technical failures.
Prize Collection: Prizes must be collected from Heart FM’s offices at Media Quarter, Green Point. Unclaimed prizes may be forfeited or donated to charity.
Prize Conditions: Prizes are not transferable or redeemable for cash. If a prize requires permits or documentation, it is the winner’s responsibility to obtain them.
Disqualification: Failure to comply with these terms may result in disqualification and forfeiture of the prize. Heart FM reserves the right to recover any losses incurred due to non-compliance.
Disclaimer & Consent
Liability: Heart FM and Computicket are not liable for injuries, losses, or damages before, during, or after the event. Attendees participate at their own risk.
Media Usage: By attending, you consent to the use of your name, image, and voice in promotional material by Heart FM and its sponsors.
Data Protection: Personal data is handled in accordance with POPIA. By entering, you consent to Heart FM collecting and using your information for competition administration, marketing, and audience insights.
Third-Party Prizes: If a prize is supplied by a third party, Heart FM will provide contact details but is not responsible for defects or fulfilment.
Presenter Competitions: If a presenter runs a competition independently, Heart FM is not responsible for prize fulfilment.
