TERMS AND CONDITIONS – HKD MUSIC FESTIVAL
1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
By purchasing a ticket and/or attending the HKD Music Festival ("the Event"), you ("the Ticket Holder") agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, as well as all applicable laws and venue regulations.
2. TICKETS AND ADMISSION
Valid Ticket: A valid ticket or wristband must be presented for entry. Lost, stolen, or damaged tickets/wristbands will not be replaced.
Age Policy: Strictly 18+ only. Valid photo ID is required for entry.
Right of Refusal: Management reserves the right to refuse admission or eject any person for disorderly conduct, violation of Event rules, or any other reason at management’s sole discretion. No refunds will be issued in such cases.
3. REFUNDS AND CANCELLATIONS
No Refunds: All ticket sales are final. No refunds or exchanges will be issued except in the case of Event cancellation.
Cancellation/Postponement: If the Event is cancelled in its entirety, a refund of the face value of the ticket may be issued (excluding booking fees). If the Event is postponed, tickets will be valid for the rescheduled date, or a refund window may be offered.
Force Majeure: The Event is not liable for acts of God, weather events, governmental regulations, or other circumstances beyond its control that may cancel or alter the Event.
4. VENUE RULES & PROHIBITED ITEMS
The following items are strictly prohibited and will be confiscated:
Illegal substances and drug paraphernalia.
Weapons, sharp objects, or any item deemed a safety risk.
Glass containers, alcohol, or outside beverages.
Professional recording equipment (audio/video) or drones.
Large bags (exceeding [e.g., A4 size]), umbrellas, or selfie sticks.
Management reserves the right to conduct security searches upon entry.
5. PARKING POLICY
Parking facilities are provided on a first-come, first-served basis.
Parking is at the owner’s sole risk. The Event, venue, and their agents accept no liability for loss, damage, or theft of vehicles or personal belongings.
6. TRANSPORTATION
The Event strongly encourages the use of ride-sharing services (Uber, Bolt), taxis, or public transport.
The Ticket Holder is responsible for arranging their own safe transportation to and from the Event.
7. PHOTOGRAPHY AND RECORDING
By attending the Event, the Ticket Holder grants the Event organizers the irrevocable right and permission to use their image, likeness, and voice in photographs, video, and audio recordings for promotional, marketing, and archival purposes in any media worldwide, without compensation.
8. ASSUMPTION OF RISK
The Ticket Holder voluntarily assumes all risks and dangers associated with attending a live music festival, including but not limited to:
Loud noise (which can cause hearing loss).
Strobe lighting, lasers, and special effects.
Large crowds and mosh pits.
Weather conditions (heat, rain, etc.).
The Ticket Holder agrees that the Event organizers are not liable for any personal injury, loss, or damage sustained on site.
9. LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the HKD Music Festival, its organizers, sponsors, and venue partners disclaim all liability for any personal injury, property damage, or financial loss arising from attendance at the Event.
10. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of South Africa.
