Participation in the Hike & Meet event is free and voluntary. All participants take part at their own risk. The organisers will not be held liable for any injury, loss, damage, or illness sustained before, during, or after the hike.
Participants must be physically fit to complete a 4 km hike and are responsible for their own health and safety. Those with medical conditions should consult a healthcare professional before attending. Bringing a personal first aid kit is compulsory.
Participants aged 13 to 17 must attend with a responsible adult. All instructions from event organisers must be followed at all times.
Transport arrangements are optional and available at a fee of R100 return. Transport fees must be paid by 26 December 2025. No refunds will be issued once payment is made.
By attending, participants consent to photographs or videos taken during the event being used for promotional purposes.
The organisers reserve the right to change or cancel the event due to weather, safety concerns, or unforeseen circumstances.
