Freedom Day, Freedom Day on the 27th of April is a holiday celebrated by South African. It celebrates freedom and commemorates the first post-apartheid elections held on that day in 1994. This event is all about celebrating everything that happened post and on the 27th of April 1994. "we dedicate this day to all the hero's and heroin's who sacrificed in many ways and surrendered their lives so we could be free" Nelson Mandela.
