Terms and conditions
1 All people participating in this offer (“the participants”) agree that the offer rules as set out in these terms and conditions, are binding onthem. These rules are available on our facebook page and can be accessed at Golden Drifters Education Development Foundation NPO.
2 The organiser of this scheme is The Golden Drifters Education Development Foundation and Sports development Academy. (Registration number with NLC: 00356 and Registration with DSD: 187-779NPO)
3 The Golden Drifters Education Development Foundation and Sports development Academy, its management committee members, members, partners, employees, agents or consultants, the suppliers of goods or services and their respective spouses, life partners, business partners, immediate family members or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by this organization, are not eligible to participate in thisscheme.
4 No person under the age of 18 will be allowed to buy tickets for this scheme.
Personal information
5. The Golden Drifters Education Development Foundation and Sports development Academy will only collect, process and share your personal information for the purpose of drafting the winner for the scheme. The only information that will be collected from you is: Your Name & Surname and Contact Number.
6. By entering the competition, your personal information will be processed and may be transferred to our service providers and agents (including their subcontractors) to store and use as necessary to administer the draw only. We will never pass your information to any third party for them to use in their own direct marketing as a result of this competition, without your consent.
7. This scheme will start on 1 August 2022 (“scheme start date”) and end on 30 November 2022 (“scheme end date”), both dates included(“the scheme period”).
Qualifying criteria
8. To qualify, participants must:
i. have a valid South African identity document or must be resident in South Africa in the
case of a foreign national;
ii. provide correct and full personal contact details when buying a ticket
iii. be 18 years or older;
How to enter/participate
9. You will automatically be entered into the competition if you buy a ticket at any of our
selected outlets or from our selected tickets sellers or at computicket for only R20.00
10. By virtue of entering into this competition, the participant accepts that we will publish their name,
surname andphotograph on our digital and media platforms to the general public if they win the competition and accept the winnings.
Determination of winners
11. Winners will be selected from those who are going to buy tickets in August 2022 to November
2022.
12. The fridge and microwave will be awarded in December 2022.
13. Winners will be selected through a random public draw and after winners have been selected,
they will be contacted telephonically for the verification of their personal details provided
when purchasing the ticket.
14. Winners will further be notified by telephone (or cellphone) and SMS once they have successfully confirm their details.
15. If you are not reachable telephonically at the time of being announced as a winner, you will forfeit your winnings.
Drawings
16. If there are changes to the dates, it will be communicated on Golden Drifters Education Development Foundation NPO Facebook page.
17. The draw will be conducted by the Manager/Promoter Mr. Tshepiso Marvellous Ramavhoya, with the oversight of NLC for the purposes of transparency.
18. The drawing process has been reviewed by the Management Committee to ensure integrity.
19. During the draw, only two draws will be conducted to have two winners.
20. Draw date: Saturday 10 December 2022
Prize
21. There is a Hisense 230lt Fridge and a Russel Hobbs Microwave 20lt to be won.
22. These prizes cannot be exchanged for cash prizes.
23. If the prize is not claimed and collected within 7 (seven) days of the pre-arranged handover date, the prize may be forfeited at our discretion.
General
24. Once the prize has been paid over in terms of these rules, the results of the offer are final in all
respects and no correspondence will be allowed.
