Going To Fetch Kathy

The story entails colonial and Apartheid heritage that is preserved in public spaces as well as how the twisted heritage through colonial and apartheid gets to be transmitted into knowledge in post-democratic South Africa. The story takes place inside the monumental train and it somehow seems to be traversing the boundary between the past-the future.  Through a journey of a Shoe-maker who witnessed two white-armed security personnel inside the premises of Learskool Schweizer-reneke.  In the protest against the teacher who separated the Grade R pupils based on their race, the shoe-maker then receives a visit from a long-dead freedom fighter and task him to demand an apology from the educator, contrary, long-dead Schweizer and reneke( colonist: Captain Schweizer and field-cornet Reneke )gets the educator before the shoe-maker could. He finds himself with no choice but to go and fetch Kathy (Ahmed Kathrada who was born in Schweizer-reneke).
