The Funds Raised through this Gala Dinner will support our important community programmes and initiatives such as our core mandate to contribute extensively towards improving decision making for the youth, and reduce the gap between creating jobs, by using available human resources.

SEM Cares Foundation is a charity organization and its main purpose is to give back to the community in more ways than one; using different holistic approaches to youth empowerment. SEM Cares Foundation provides community services as a way of empowering the youth, raising awareness, and helping the helpless and we need your help to make it happen.

The organization has six objectives based on its operations and these are:

• To provide Foundation courses, education, and mentorship services to the youth on its career paths, in order to influence career decision making choices at an early stage.

• To provide intimate and social support services to the youth in order to draw them closer to the society and create a warm environment around them.

• To start income generating activities geared towards empowering the youth economically

• Participation in community awareness and sensitization campaigns in such matters like heath, education and HIV/AIDS etc.

• Organizing, co-ordinating, Sponsoring and encouraging participation in local and international youth workshops so as to provide linkages with other youth counterparts in the rest of the world

• Providing forum through which the youth can air their views in matters relating to their welfare
