Dearest Friends Weekend Alumni 🥳🌈🌻
We hope that winter was restful and that you spent some time thinking fondly about our weekend together making friends, celebrating life together, dancing, sharing music, feeling freedom and joy!
During the past few months, since Friends Weekend 1.0, a large amount of planning and deliberation has taken place. We considered all feedback and have listened!
We are so excited to welcome you to Friends Weekend 2.0, "Where the Wild Things Were" from 26 - 28 November 2021, in Wellington at Oaklands Estate!
We absolutely loved Friends Weekend 1.0. We are so proud of everyone who volunteered their time and energy to put together a celebration with a very skimpy budget 😅 Thank you so much! Friends Weekend 1.0 allowed us to realized we needed to do things properly to ensure everyone would be safe, secure & enjoy the weekend with experiences that are streamlined with a clear program.
Tickets will be available for dining at Vygie (insert link), and for the cash bar. Please note that there is limited internet and signal on the farm so please do not forget to buy your dining and drinks tickets in advance. (Insert link).
We have decided to limit this event to 70 friends. Thus, 70 tickets will be available for sale. These will be sold within 3 tiers (more on that later). The tickets are available to our friends and to your friends. In the event that there are a few tickets left over and we have not met our target for expenses we will consider opening up tickets to the general public.
As you know there are two ticket options:
Camping at the Manor House (32 tickets available) bring your own tent and gear, camping only at the Manor House party venue. The camping area includes a lovely fresh water pool, braai facilities, bring your own cooking implements, shower facilities using a donkey boiler, and toilets, fresh water, designated braai area, are available on site as well.
Accommodation at Oaklands Stables (38 tickets available) expect your own bed with bedding in a room shared with 1 other person, shared and plentiful ablutions, cooking facilities, lounge with couches and dining tables, outdoor chill areas, fire pit, wifi, dam, share a room with a friend or be open to sharing a room with a new friend, (single rooms unfortunately not guaranteed this time around).
Tickets are available in 3 tiers and once they are sold out, they are sold out.

From 1 November onwards ticket prices will increase to: camping R800 pp, accommodation R1600 pp
