Terms & Conditions – Women & Youth Empowerment Business Event

1. Event Overview

This event is focused on empowering women and youth in the business industry through networking, leadership discussions, entrepreneurship education, motivation, and professional development opportunities.

By purchasing a ticket, all attendees agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

2. Ticket Purchase & Payment

All tickets sold are subject to availability.

Tickets are non-transferable without prior written approval from the organiser.

Proof of payment or ticket confirmation must be presented at event entry.

The organiser reserves the right to refuse entry to anyone without valid registration.

3. Upfront Funding & Event Operations

As a start-up empowerment initiative, the organiser may request an upfront operational deposit or early payout arrangement from the ticketing platform to assist with event preparation costs, including venue bookings, catering, décor, guest speakers, logistics, and event production.

All funds received will be used strictly for the successful delivery of the event.

Attendees acknowledge that ticket revenue contributes directly to the operational costs of hosting the event.

4. Event Changes

The organiser reserves the right to make changes to the event programme, venue, speakers, schedule, or activities where necessary.

Any major changes will be communicated to attendees through official communication channels.

5. Refund Policy

Tickets are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled by the organiser.

If the event is postponed, tickets will remain valid for the new event date.

Refund requests, where applicable, will be processed according to the ticketing platform’s policies and timelines.

6. Speaker & Guest Participation

Guest speakers, facilitators, and special guests are subject to availability.

The organiser is not liable for speaker cancellations due to unforeseen circumstances.

7. Attendee Conduct

Professional and respectful behaviour is expected from all attendees.

Any form of harassment, discrimination, violence, or disruptive behaviour may result in removal from the event without refund.

8. Media & Photography

Photos and videos may be taken during the event for promotional and marketing purposes.

By attending, guests consent to the use of their image in future event promotions unless otherwise requested in writing.

9. Liability

The organiser will not be held responsible for any loss, theft, injury, or damage to personal belongings during the event.

Attendees participate at their own risk.
