1.1 These Terms & Conditions apply to all ticket holders, attendees, vendors, and participants attending Eat Out Weekends (“the Event”). 1.2 By purchasing a ticket and/or entering the Event, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. 1.3 The Event organiser reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice.
2.1 Entry is subject to a valid ticket. 2.2 Right of Admission is strictly reserved. 2.3 All attendees may be searched upon entry. 2.4 The organiser reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any person who:
Is intoxicated, disorderly, or poses a risk to others
Fails to comply with Event rules
Is found in possession of prohibited items 2.5 Any unlawful or dangerous behaviour may result in removal and/or arrest.
The following items are strictly prohibited:
Outside food and beverages of any kind
Hookah pipes / hubbly bubbly
Weapons or any dangerous objects
Illegal substances
Any prohibited items may be confiscated and entry may be denied.
The following items are permitted:
Picnic blankets / towels
Camping chairs
Empty cooler boxes (subject to inspection)
All items are subject to search upon entry.
5.1 Food and beverages will be sold within the Event. 5.2 No outside food or drinks are allowed. 5.3 Cooler boxes must be empty on arrival and are subject to inspection. 5.4 The Event operates as a cashless environment:
Only bank cards, tap-to-pay, and NFC-enabled devices will be accepted
No cash payments will be accepted on-site
6.1 Secure off-site parking is available at a fee of R30 per vehicle. 6.2 A Park & Ride shuttle service will operate throughout the Event. 6.3 Attendees are encouraged to make use of e-hailing services. 6.4 Parking is at the vehicle owner’s own risk. The organiser is not liable for any loss or damage.
7.1 Attendance at the Event is entirely at the attendee’s own risk. 7.2 The organiser, its employees, agents, partners, and contractors shall not be liable for:
Any injury, death, illness, or loss suffered at the Event
Any loss, theft, or damage to personal property 7.3 All rides, activities, and attractions are used at the participant’s own risk. 7.4 Attendees voluntarily assume all risks associated with attending the Event.
8.1 The Event is an outdoor event and is subject to weather conditions. 8.2 The Event will proceed in most weather conditions unless deemed unsafe. 8.3 The organiser shall not be held liable for cancellation, delay, or interruption caused by circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to:
Adverse weather conditions
Power failures
Government restrictions
Safety or security risks
Acts of God or force majeure
9.1 All ticket sales are final. 9.2 No refunds will be issued for any reason, including Event cancellation. 9.3 In the event of cancellation, ticket holders will receive replacement tickets for the next similar event. 9.4 Replacement tickets will be subject to the Terms & Conditions of the rescheduled Event.
10.1 By entering the Event, attendees consent to being photographed, filmed, or recorded. 10.2 The organiser may use any images, video, or audio recordings for marketing, promotional, or commercial purposes without compensation.
11.1 Designated smoking areas will be provided. 11.2 The Event is a Muslim-friendly environment. 11.3 Halal food and beverages will be available at selected vendors.
12.1 Children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times. 12.2 Parents or guardians assume full responsibility for minors attending the Event.
13.1 By attending the Event, you indemnify and hold harmless the organiser, its directors, employees, contractors, sponsors, and partners from any claims, damages, or losses arising from:
Attendance at the Event
Participation in any activities
Any incident occurring at or in connection with the Event
14.1 These Terms & Conditions shall be governed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
