EAST LONDON SPIN FESTIVAL – TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. Ticket Purchase & Entry
Tickets are sold exclusively through Computicket and its authorised outlets.
A valid ticket (printed or digital) must be presented for entry.
Tickets are non-refundable and non-exchangeable, except as required by the Consumer Protection Act of South Africa.
2. Event Admission
This is an all-ages event.
Entry is subject to venue capacity, security checks, and compliance with event rules.
The organisers reserve the right to refuse entry or remove any attendee whose behaviour is unsafe, disruptive, or in violation of these terms, without refund.
Re-entry may not be permitted once patrons leave the venue.
3. Alcohol Policy
Alcohol will be sold at the event.
No alcohol may be sold or supplied to persons under the age of 18.
Valid identification may be requested.
Alcohol purchased outside the venue is not permitted unless approved under the cooler box policy.
4. Cooler Box Policy
Cooler box entry is permitted at a fee of R250 per cooler box.
All cooler boxes are subject to inspection at entry.
No glass bottles, illegal substances, or prohibited items are allowed.
Management reserves the right to confiscate prohibited items.
5. Parking Policy
All general attendee vehicles are required to park only on the designated rugby field parking area.
No public or spectator vehicles will be allowed to park inside the main event venue.
Parking inside the venue is strictly reserved for authorised spinning vehicles and event-approved participants only.
The organisers shall not be held responsible for any loss, theft, or damage to vehicles parked in designated areas.
6. Event Nature & Disclaimer
The event is a spinning and motorsport entertainment showcase.
Drivers are not competing; spinning is performed for entertainment purposes only.
Attendees acknowledge that motorsport-related activities involve inherent risks.
7. Safety & Liability
Attendance is entirely at the attendee’s own risk.
The organisers, sponsors, venue owners, employees, and contractors shall not be liable for any injury, loss, damage, or theft, except where caused by gross negligence.
All attendees must follow instructions from event officials, security personnel, and marshals.
8. Prohibited Items & Conduct
Prohibited items include weapons, illegal substances, fireworks, glass bottles, and dangerous objects.
Disorderly conduct, fighting, vandalism, or reckless behaviour will result in removal from the venue without refund.
9. Media & Photography
By attending the event, patrons consent to photography and video recording.
The organisers may use such material for promotional and marketing purposes without compensation.
10. Weather Conditions
This is an outdoor event and will proceed in most weather conditions.
No refunds will be issued due to weather conditions unless the event is officially cancelled.
11. Event Changes & Cancellation
The organisers reserve the right to change the event date, time, programme, or venue if required.
In the event of cancellation, refunds will be processed in accordance with Computicket’s refund policy.
12. General
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
The organisers reserve the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time.
