Daveyton, known for its deep-rooted connection to Rasta and reggae, has preserved the authentic sound system culture over the decades.
Join us on June 1, 2024, at the Victor Ndlazilwane Community Centre, located opposite Daveyton Mall, for an unforgettable day of music and community.
This is a all ages event featuring a lineup of renowned reggae sound systems, including Kebra Ethiopia Sound System from Kwa Thema, Giggs Pro Sound System from Katlehong, and Trenchtown Rock Sound System from Daveyton. Each sound system brings its unique flavour and energy, reflecting the diverse of South Africa’s reggae scene.
In addition to the musical journey, come, join and experience the King & Queen Steps, guided by University of Steppas, Spyland Steppas and Vutha Steppas. This is a rare occasion!!!!
20% of ticket sales will be donated to the Mpumelelo Soup Kitchen & Orphanage, supporting the local community. Tickets are available at R100 in advance and R120 at the door, free entrance for children under 15 years.
