Cider & Shisanyama Fest

The ChafZar Cider & Shisanyama Fest is the first of its kind in and around Mbombela. It will be an annual celebration of the diversity of Cider. Patrons will sample a variety of ciders at discounted prices. We’ll also be serving soft drinks, beers and wines for non-cider drinkers who want to join in the fun.

But it’s not just going to be about Cider. We’ll be braaing meat and turning that lamb on the spit braai! Patrons will win great prizes by participating in three competitions:

•Fastest Shisanyama Eating Contest

How fast can you eat braai meat? Well why not give it a go on the day and see if you can’t win our shisanyama eating competition.

Jump up on stage and join in to compete against other attendees to try and eat just over xx kg of meat and wors as fast as you can!

This will be a great way to launch ChafZar Butchery & Shisanyama.

•Chilli Eating Competition

Fancy yourself as a person who can eat hot food? We have our famous chilli eating on stage competition! Six rounds of chillis… how far can you get?

This will be a great tactic to launch the ChafZar Chillies.

•Cider Drinking Competition

Patrons who are brave – or foolish – enough can participate in a contest to see who can drink a pack of 6 ciders the quickest.

In all the competitions, the men will compete differently from women.
