About this event
Cherry Jazz Festival is a two-day annual live event celebrating the cherry harvest in Ficksburg during November Month. It attracts patrons from different areas of the Country including neighbouring Countries. It started way back in 2008 and Ficksburg has become a household name in South Africa due to its aggressive marketing of the Cherry. Patrons usually bond easily and enjoy peace and tranquillity. Its starts in the morning and ends during the early hours of the next morning whilst the celebration continues in Ficksburg. Its main objective is to promote domestic tourism, arts and culture, agriculture, unique climate and the fact that it is the largest cherry producing capital town in South Africa.
