In a vibrant town called Ga-thoka, a group of diverse and colorful characters attends Makhanye Primary School. Among them is timid Bohlale, a young man who dreams of fitting in but often finds himself targeted by the school bully, Chappies.

With the help of her friends and the guidance of their caring teacher, Mr. Mokoena, Chappies embarks on a journey of self-discovery, courage, and the true meaning of friendship.
