5 August Boyden Open Evening

A perfect evening awaits you at the Boyden Observatory on 5 August! Join us for an evening of stargazing and exploration, and don't forget to bring your friends and family along! Just R100 per car - so pack them in tightly. There are also refreshments for sale so come and enjoy a pancake and a hotdog with us under the stars.

The evening's event will be hosted by some of the most experienced amateur astronomers in the field. They will guide you on a fascinating journey through the night sky, introducing you to galaxies and constellations you may have never seen before!

There will be observations through the 13 inch telescope, a visit to the 60 inch telescope as well as the museum. So don't miss out on this one-of-a-kind event and join us at the Boyden Observatory for a night of stargazing and exploration!
