Terms & Conditions – That Wrap-Up ’25

1. Acceptance

By purchasing a ticket for The Wrap-Up ’25 (the “Event”), you (“ticket holder”, “attendee”, “you”) agree to these Terms & Conditions. The ticket constitutes a contract between you and the organisers.

2. Ticket & Entry Conditions

  • Each attendee must present a valid ticket (electronic or printed) for entry. One ticket admits one person only. LTickets+1

  • Tickets obtained from unauthorised or secondary sellers (resellers, scalpers) will be considered invalid. Entry will be refused and no refund will be issued. LTickets+1

  • Lost, stolen, damaged or destroyed tickets will not be replaced or refunded. LTickets+1

3. Conduct & Safety

  • Entry is subject to the venue’s safety and security regulations. The organiser reserves the right to refuse entry or eject attendees for violation of rules (e.g., possession of weapons, dangerous items, non-compliance with dress code or conduct policy). Cricket South Africa+1

  • Attendees must comply with any reasonable instructions given by staff or security at the venue.

4. Event Changes, Cancellation or Postponement

  • The organiser reserves the right to change program details (line-up, schedule, venue) before the event.

  • If the Event is cancelled entirely by the organiser, ticket holders will be offered a full refund of the ticket face-value. Informativ+2SUGSA+2

  • If the Event is postponed or materially changed (new date, different venue), ticket holders may request either a refund or a replacement ticket for the rescheduled event. Informativ+2SUGSA+2

5. No-Refund / No-Transfer (Strict Policy)

  • Tickets are non-transferable. Ticket holders may not resell, exchange or transfer their ticket to another person. Any attempt to do so will void the ticket. LTickets+2Acts Online+2

  • Once purchased, tickets are final sale. Unless the Event is cancelled or materially changed by the organiser (see section 4), no refunds, exchanges or credit will be given — even if you cannot attend.

6. Limitation of Liability

  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, the organiser is not liable for any loss, injury, damage or expense incurred by any attendee, howsoever arising, including but not limited to travel costs, personal injury, loss or theft.

  • The organiser’s liability — if any — is limited to the face value of the ticket. (This clause may be adjusted depending on your desired level of liability.) SUGSA+1

7. Force Majeure & Unforeseeable Events

  • The organiser will not be liable for failure to deliver the Event or parts thereof due to circumstances beyond their reasonable control (weather, power outages, government restrictions, safety emergencies, etc.).

  • In such cases, the organiser may cancel or postpone the Event; ticket holders will be offered refund or replacement tickets in line with section 4.

8. Age, Minors & Additional Restrictions (if applicable)

  • If there is an age restriction for entry (e.g. minimum age), this will be specified on the ticket or event page. Tickets issued for a different age group will not be honoured. Open Tickets+1

  • Each attendee must comply with any venue-specific rules relating to ID verification, age verification, or other access control measures.

9. Acceptance of Publicity & Recording (if applicable)

  • By attending, you consent to being photographed, filmed or recorded during the Event. The organiser may use such recordings for promotion, marketing or documentation, without additional compensation to attendees. (If you plan to photograph/film — clarify in your event page. This clause optional.)

10. Governing Law & Disputes

  • These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes relating to the Event or these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts. SUGSA+1

11. Other Provisions

  • The organiser reserves the right to amend these terms (for future events), but for This Event the terms at time of purchase apply.

  • If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable under South African law, that provision will be severed and the remainder of the terms will continue to apply.

⚠️ Notes on South African Legal Context & Consumer Rights

  • Under Consumer Protection Act, 2008 (CPA), consumers are protected against unfair, unreasonable or unjust contract terms. Blanket exclusion of all refunds may be considered “unfair” if it denies basic consumer rights — especially where the supplier (organiser) fails to deliver the service. Labour Guide South Africa+2LSSA+2

  • Tickets for events are often treated as services for a specific date — which may limit “cooling-off” or general cancellation rights for consumers. Voelgoed+1

  • However — if the event fails to occur (cancellation) or is materially changed (date, venue) — the organiser should provide refund or credit.
