TERMS AND CONDITIONS: OCTOFEST 2026

1. ADMISSION & AGE RESTRICTION

• This event is strictly for persons aged 18 and older.

• Valid identity documentation (ID book, smart card, passport, or driver's license) must be presented at the gate upon request.

• Right of Admission is Reserved by venue management and event organizers.

2. TICKETS & REFUNDS

• All tickets must be purchased through official Computicket channels or Shoprite/Checkers Money Market counters.

• Fake, altered, or duplicated tickets will not grant entry and will be confiscated.

• Tickets are non-refundable and non-exchangeable except in the event of total cancellation of the festival.

3. VENUE RULES & SAFETY

• The event takes place at Xception Shisa Nyama (5844 Mayfield Ext 7, Daveyton) on 31 October 2026.

• Doors open at 12:00 PM.

• All patrons will be subjected to a security search (frisking and bag checks) at the entrance.

• No weapons, illegal substances, fireworks, or dangerous objects are permitted inside the venue.

• No external food or beverages may be brought into the venue unless specific cooler box tickets are purchased (subject to organizer policy).

4. LIABILITY & PROPERTY

• The organizers, venue owners, sponsors, and affiliates accept no responsibility for any injury, loss, death, or damage to personal property, howsoever caused.

• Attendees enter the premises entirely at their own risk.

• Vehicles parked outside or inside the venue area are parked at the owner's risk.

5. MEDIA & PHOTOGRAPHY

• By entering the event premises, attendees grant permission to the organizers to use their likeness in any photograph, video, or digital media for promotional purposes without compensation.

6. BEHAVIOUR & COMPLIANCE

• Any person displaying rowdy, aggressive, anti-social, or dangerous behaviour will be immediately escorted off the premises without a refund.

• Attendees must comply with all instructions given by security personnel and event staff.
